Business Week was right – blogs are a great way to advertise your product or service. Why? There’s a few great reasons:
- Blogs have a VERY loyal following.
- Blogs often target a specific market better than almost any other medium.
- Blog content is often static – it’s available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year as long as the site is still up.
PR Requests
I welcome requests for PR from any company that has a relevant topic or product review that my readers would be interested in. Product Reviews
I know how difficult it can be to get the word out on new products as they become available. A cost-effective method for publicizing your products is for bloggers to do a review and/or giveaway. I am available for product reviews in the same areas as listed above. I ask that a product be provided to me to review and keep and, when possible, one also be provided to give away to my readers. I do not charge a fee for product reviews (please see sponsored posts on my Advertising page) and all of my reviews will reflect my honest opinion on the product.
Why Should You Want Me to Review Your Product?
Well, first of all I’m super awesome at testing stuff. I think I am, anyway. I’m also a pretty proficient writer. I’ve written the vast majority of the content on this site and I also own three other sites as well. I’ve even contributed to magazines in the past and have a pretty good track record with major brands – see below for more info.
In addition to my qualifications and accolades, I will promote my review of your product on Facebook & Twitter to provide more buzz.
How to Get Your Product Reviewed
Email me at daniel at memoirsofasingledad dot com with the subject line “Product Review Request.” DO NOT JUST SEND ME A PRESS RELEASE AND EXPECT ME TO POST ABOUT IT. Please give me a detailed description of the product or service you would like me to review. Let me know if you would also like me to run a giveaway – when the giveaway is over, I will provide you the contact information for the winner so you can ship the prize directly to them. I will not ship items to winners myself or at my expense. Please provide a link to your website so I can find out more about your products. If I think your product would be a good fit, I’ll get in touch with you to let you know my mailing address so that you can provide a sample item or items for review.
