Two options are available for sponsored posts: we can either upload a post provided by you or we can write the post for you ourselves. If you provide us with the post, sponsored post rates start at $50. If we write the post for you, our sponsored post rate starts at $150 (for a 500 word piece). All posts are promoted on social media outlets (Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, etc) and will be seen by hundreds of thousands of users, worldwide. Prices may vary for sponsored posts depending on the subject matter and how much effort is required to produce and advertise the post.
Product Review & Giveaway
We love free stuff – who doesn’t? Working with a blog to host a product review and giveaway is a great way to generate buzz and receive an honest opinion about your product or service. The best part – the only cost is the cost of the review product(s) and the giveaways! Talk about bang for your buck…
It should be expected and understood that any products provided for review will not be returned to the company. Products that are not relevant to our audience will not be reviewed. Please also keep in mind that there can be a great amount of time involved in reviewing & writing about a product and the product should be commensurate with this effort or your request for a review will be rejected.
Sponsorship Advertisement Options
Text Link Ads
Your text link can be placed on our website in a number of methods. The first method will place text links in the the side bar or footer of my website – on every page of the site with a few exceptions. Another text link advertising option is to embed links into content, either in a single post or in all occurrences of your desired keyword(s). Text link ads must include a link; a short description is optional. Link ads start at $40 per month and are great for targeted keyword anchor text AND for generating traffic to your site. A discount on text link ads is available when pre-paid for multiple months in advance. We reserve the right to reject link ad requests from businesses or industries that are counter to our own philosophies and beliefs.
Header (Banner) Ads
The header is THE prime real estate on any blog. The ‘sweet spot’ is usually in the top right or left corner, “above the fold” or above where a user would have to scroll down to view it. A header ad runs for 30 days and is one of the best ways to get your product, site or service visibility. Header ad space is very limited since I like to maintain a very tidy look on my sites. Header advertisements rotate, displaying a random add to each visitor. Header banners must be exactly 468×60 pixels with no exceptions. Sidebar (Banner Ads)
Similar to the header banner ad, Memoirs of a Single Dad and other sites in our network offer sidebar banner advertising space as well. Ad sizes will vary between sites, ranging from 225 pixels wide to 300 pixels wide. Heights are limited to the industry-standard height of 600 pixels.

Embedded Ads
Have a new banner or product image you want to show off? Provide us with a link and a banner or image and I will embed them into a post. The post will be available as long as my site is up and so will your ad. Some of my more popular posts have gotten tens of thousands of hits and continue to receive residual traffic through search engines as well. Sizes and availability will vary.
